Intro to Principles-based Negotiation and Contract Basics
Everyone is a negotiator, be it at the boardroom table or the kitchen table. In this workshop, we’ll introduce the theory of principles-based negotiation, popularized by Roger Fisher and William Ury's bestseller, Getting to Yes.
We’ll discuss archetypical negotiating relationships, “wants” versus “interests”; and strategies to facilitate productive bargaining.
This workshop will also provide an overview of contract principles and review the elements of contracts that can be designed to meet your needs and those of your clients.
