Writing Workshop with Angelique and Rachel Continues, scheduled for first week of the month
VOICES introduces a 4-week beginners creative non-fiction writing workshop for 9/11 survivors. Facilitated by Angelique Tung, survivor of the 9/11 attacks, this workshop will create a safe space for survivors to write their stories of survivorship both on the day of the attacks and beyond. NO writing experience needed.
Each session will include a short reading and discussion, time for writing, and an opportunity for participants to share their writing and receive supportive feedback in a non-judgmental, confidential setting. Sessions will be hosted virtually via Zoom.
Participants will have the opportunity to add their stories to the VOICES 9/11 Living Memorial.
Important note: This is not group therapy.
This writing workshop is free and open to all survivors of the 9/11 attacks. Registration is required and participants must commit to attending all four sessions. Space is limited.
*Please note that your registration does not guarantee participation in this support group. Participation is limited to ten registrants.
After completing registration, you will receive a phone call to discuss workshop details to ensure fit. We thank you for your understanding!
