Join the Lake Oswego Library and Respond to Racism for a three-book summer discussion series as we seek to deepen our connections to one another, strengthen our understandings of African American experiences and perspectives through literature, and continue the community conversation surrounding race and caste in America.
Join us on Sunday, June 13 at 2 PM for Part 1 of this series, where we will be discussing Incidents in the Life of a Slave Girl by Harriet Jacobs. This program will begin with a presentation on the historical background of the book by Regan Parker. All are welcome! Registration required in advance.
