Join us this Wednesday, July 14th (1 PM EST / 10 AM PST) for our IgniteNextGen 2021 Professional Day featuring speakers from the following industries: Art and Music; Science and Technology; Economics, Law, and Public Policy; and the Humanities.

Hear from musical virtuosos Jennifer Koh and Alpin Hong as they describe their experiences navigating the pandemic and their vision for the arts world. They discuss the unique role that the performing arts play in promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion, as well as the values future leaders must embrace to build a more tolerant and informed world.

Dr. Jieun Baek, Founder & Co-Director of Lumen, will be sharing how nowadays, traditional industry silos are becoming irrelevant. Jieun will share about her interdisciplinary career, which intersects public policy and human rights with science and tech.

From national security to Korean dramas, Professor Robert Kang will walk through the many career paths of law. During his career, Robert has worked to protect the nation’s cybersecurity and the intellectual property rights of entertainment companies.

In the Humanities track, join Connie Chung Joe, CEO of Asian Americans Advancing Justice - Los Angeles, as she discusses Asian American activism in the time of COVID-19. Connie will touch upon what it means to speak out as an Asian American, what tools are needed to be effective activists, and the role of allyship, among other topics.
