A Hunger For Stories
Join us for an afternoon of discussion and readings with poet Dale Biron. There are many reasons we love and turn to poetry. A classic one is to be inspired. We also use poetry to show and praise the beauty in people and the world. Still, another use of poetry is to work with loss and grief. Perhaps at the root of all these reasons is lifting the human imagination through story—stories embedded in poems to help us remember what is possible, even when such things feel improbable. Let’s come together to celebrate just these kinds of poems, to feed on the unique sustenance that only good poetry can provide.
