Building Back to Strength
Join this 45 minute small group session to support you in getting moving again, rebuilding your core strength, mobility and muscle strength. Please note there is a more challenging class on a Monday and Thursday morning that is more suitable for those looking for a moderate intensity exercise session. Physical activity is beneficial for therapy related side effects, for managing mood and energy and improving health outcomes.
Please check with your doctor first for clearance and that it is safe for you to exercise. Do not exercise if you think you will experience any adverse effects. Stop straight away if you experience any adverse effects.
In these exercise sessions Alisa will:
- aim for a light intensity session of seated, standing and 'mat' exercises
- offer adaptations and progressions to cater for most abilities and particular considerations
- be using a sturdy upright chair and small dumbbells OR filled bottles / cans OR a resistance band
