All of Us is a research program from the National Institutes of Health (NIH). It is seeking one million or more people from across the United States to help speed up medical research. People who join will share information about their health, habits, and what it’s like where they live.
All of Us aims to reflect the diversity of the country. We include participants from groups that have been underrepresented in health research in the past. At the moment, health care is often one-size-fits-all. But imagine a future where your health care is tailored to you. We want to make that future possible by creating a resource that allows researchers to conduct thousands of studies on health and disease. By looking for patterns, researchers will learn more about what affects people’s health.
In times like these, health research is especially important. During these challenging times, we all want to do our part to stop the spread of COVID-19. Our efforts, along with many others, will help researchers learn more about COVID-19 and its impact on people from all walks of life – across the country and around the world.
You have the power to drive health research. Without you, it won’t be All of Us.
Join us each Wednesday to learn about the program and how you can make a difference in the future of health.
