End of life doulas provide services for holistic care at the end of life within and outside of the vital medical role of hospice. They provide patient satisfaction by enhancing the medical services a family already has. An End of Life Doula (EOLD) helps individuals and their families on a fee for service basis. And, a new trend we are seeing is more and more hospices are developing end of life doula programs to enhance their non-medical support of families. The EOLD role is gaining traction as Baby Boomers age in ever greater numbers, challenging our healthcare system as we find ways to enhance care. In this webinar, participants will learn how best to utilize and when to call upon EOL Doulas to afford greater comfort and care for all engaged.
