1. Connect advocates and leaders across the Gulf South (TX, LA, MS, AL, FL) around a shared vision to advance regional sustainability in the face of the global climate crisis.
2. Highlight values and solutions originating from the frontlines of climate change in the Gulf and Global South.
3. Advise and advance Green New Deal federal policy through the development of priorities that address the unique conditions of Gulf South communities on the frontline of climate change.
Please note: While these calls are not open to individuals, they are open to neighborhood associations, church groups, and other organizations who are accountable to a community or base. To ensure a balance of voices, attendance is limited to two representatives per organization, so please coordinate with your group accordingly. Email firstname.lastname@example.org with questions.
Calls will be held the first Wednesday of every month at 11am CDT / 12pm EDT for the remainder of 2019.
