Stressed? Anxious? This 2-session group held weekly might be just the thing you need to more effectively calm your mind and body when the many demands of student life become overwhelming.
We all experience stress and anxiety, but sometimes it starts to interfere with our lives, sleep, eating habits, relationships, concentration, and studies.
This 2-session program is designed to provide participants with some basic tools to manage their anxiety. The sessions include some psycho-education on the physiology of anxiety, the role of thinking in creating/maintaining anxiety, and learning some strategies to manage the above. During the two-week program students will learn some practical strategies that can be implemented immediately, and be incorporated into their daily lives.
