The presentation will provide an overview of the Federal Anti-Kickback Statute and its Local Transportation Safe Harbor. We will also highlight guardrails for transportation services to keep providers on the road and out of regulatory jeopardy.

Presenters: Laura Nelson and Jason Engelhart are health law attorneys at Stinson LLP. Laura represents hospital systems, physician groups, and other health care providers. She advises on a wide range of fraud and abuse matters, including the Anti-Kickback Statute and Stark Law. She also assists health care providers with licensure, tax-exempt organization, and general business matters. Jason advises companies in the health care industry on a wide range of regulatory issues shaping the next generation of health care.
