Training: Making the Most of Your Representative's Recess
StoptheBans Virtual Action & Congressional Recess Training

Access to safe, legal abortion is under attack like we’ve never seen before. Ten state legislatures have enacted bans on abortion care in the first five months of 2019 — including the extreme law signed in Alabama, banning virtually all abortions.

On Tuesday, May 23rd we will be offering Planned Parenthood supporters from across the country the opportunity to join us for a nationwide webinar to take action with us online and get trained up to fight back.

These attacks on our health and our lives are bigger than bans on abortion care: Anti-reproductive health care politicians are also attacking access to affordable birth control through the Title X program. The Trump-Pence administration’s Title X “gag rule” would dismantle the nation’s program for affordable birth control and reproductive health care and is designed to block patients from coming to Planned Parenthood.

Your members of Congress are going to be home for Memorial Day recess between May 24th and June 2nd. This is our chance to urge them to stand up for Roe v. Wade and and oppose the Title X gag rule.

Join us on Tuesday, May 23rd at 7:30 pm ET/4:30pm PT for a special training and action session. On the call, we will take action collectively to #NoBans and we will train you up on how you can fight back in your community to protect reproductive health care for all.
