Burnout, limited room for advancement, and poor salaries and benefits make remaining and progressing in the sector difficult for all nonprofit talent. People of color, however, experience even more barriers including exclusionary organizational cultures, limited mentoring, training, and access to professional networks. In this webinar, the third in Fund the People's Talent Justice Series, we'll explore the current challenges that nonprofit professionals of color experience to advancing in the sector based on our research. We'll hear from the Ballot Strategy Initiative Center and Tipping Point Community about the work they are doing to advance intersectional racial equity at the advancement stage of nonprofit careers. Both organizations and their work to promote talent justice are featured in the Talent Justice Toolkit.
Presenters include: Chris Melody Fields Figueredo, Executive Director of the Ballot Strategy Initiative Center; Jonathan Brack, Manager, Capacity Building at Tipping Point Community; and Yolanda Caldera-Durant, Vice President, Fund the People.
