Calls with Buddhists for Racial Justice Signatories
Buddhists for Racial Justice open letters to white and POC Buddhists recommended the following action plans.

For white Buddhists:
Commit to ongoing self-education.
Engage in facilitated group work.
Promote structural change within our Dharma communities
Build collaborative relationships with people of color.

For POC Buddhists:
To heal,
To discover,
To bridge,
To justice.

NABA is already tuning its website to accommodate the expanding Resource & Opportunity Listing and hosting regular blessed opportunities to connect, learn, educate, and collaborate.

We need your additional and collective ideas, input, and offerings!
Please read the open letter and immerse yourself in as many of the recommended resources as possible before the call so we may be prepared to move toward the next steps! Our facilitators also ask that you come prepared with at least one action item that you will commit to for the next 6 to 12 months.

Please choose a date for the call: with

white Buddhists and facilitator Roshi Enkyo Pat O'Hara of
New York's Village Zendo on 5/18/17

or POC Buddhists and facilitator Dr. Kamilah Majied of Howard University on 5/25/17.

Both 5-7 PM PDT/8-10 PM EDT.

Thank you and email Info @ NorthAmericanBuddhistAlliance .org
with questions and comments beforehand.
