Windows SDK Getting Started Build live HD video into your Windows app
Windows SDK Quickstart
The Zoom Windows SDK lets you use Zoom powered video sessions in apps you build for windows OS.
Downloading and using the Zoom Windows SDK
You can download our latest editions directly from git or from the download section.
You will find five folders - the developer guide is a pdf file in the root. sdk_demo contains a sample app using the SDK. You can open the file sdk_demo.vcproj in your visual studio. The same folder contains a ReadMe.txt file that has the build instructions. demo.cpp file contains the high level application which you can reference to understand how to call the stack functions and register call backs.
The Zoom SDK runs as DLL in the context of the calling application process.
SDK footprint
The size of our windows stack is about 18 MB. vcredist_x86.exe takes 4 MB, and our core libs takes about 9 MB.
System requirements
The Zoom Win SDK is supported in Win XP or higher. We don't currently support windows 10 UWP framework.
If you want to develop on Win XP, please install vcredist_x86.exe, which is included in the package.
Sample apps
For sample code, go to sdk_demo directory.
Documentation
Reference documentation is included in the doc subdirectory of the stack.
